About Green Honolulu

Avery Solmssen

Brooke Israel

Avery Solmssen’s love of flowers can be traced back to her early childhood, when she named her first dog, a chocolate lab, Morning Glory.

Her BA in Art History from the University of Colorado and her BFA in Interior Design from Chaminade University has helped to further her inherent design aesthetic. Her training in interior design included working at the esteemed Philpotts & Associates, and more recently, as an independent floral and interior design consultant.

Her innate sense has landed her roles behind the scenes of weddings, baby showers, and family functions arranging flowers.

Brooke Israel is the designer and co-founder of SoHa Living. With a degree in Finance and a minor in Fine Art Design from Lesley College’s Art Institute of Boston, she has both the business and art expertise that has made SoHa a success.

Having designed and built her own furniture, she has extensive experience in balancing aesthetics and functional tolerance.

Brooke brings her comprehensive knowledge of the world of design, current design trends, and more importantly, her own signature style, in the conception of Green.
